Stainless steel spring is inside the clasp for the required strength as all silver trigger clasps, hence this clasp is responsive to magnet. That does not effect the fact that these clasps are genuine sterling silver and all clasps are stamped with 925, UK Sheffield assay office test result can be provided on request.
